Students with disabilities: I have two students with dyslexia and one of them has dysgraphia. These students are given extra time to complete their assignments and their individual modifications are applied to their assignments.

Second-language learners: Three of my students are English Language Learners (ELLs). These students are able to sit beside students that are able to assist them with translations as needed.

Different learning styles (visual, auditory, kinesthetic): I have various types of activities that accommodate different learning styles to meet each student’s needs.

Different intelligences (Gardner’s multiple intelligences): Knowing that students learn and process information differently on a student by student basis, I allow students to complete assignments in their own way, not in one particular structure.

Students without access to technology in the home: There are very few students within my course that do not have access to technology at home. Considering the fact that there are still some, I always ensure that the assignments that are done as homework do not require the use of the Internet.

Gifted students: Most of the magnet students within my school are in my class, so I do have a large majority of gifted students within my course. I ensure that these students have opportunities to extend their learning with the activities that are in place for enrichment.

Cultural differences: When considering the demographics of my school, there are very few cultural differences.
